No, your patient’s AstraZeneca Authentics Prescription Savings Card never expires. Your patient can continue to receive support as long as they are on their eligible AstraZeneca branded medication.

AstraZeneca Authentics is an extension of AstraZeneca’s offerings through innoviCares^® and RxHelp^TM ONE. AstraZeneca Authentics is unique to patients prescribed eligible AstraZeneca brands. AstraZeneca Authentics provides a holistic approach to patient support that includes financial assistance (which will continue to be managed through our partnerships with innoviCares^® and RxHelp^TM ONE), patient tools, resources, and medication information designed to help patients understand their treatment and encourage them to take their medication as prescribed.

The AstraZeneca Authentics Prescription Savings Card will cover up to the difference in the prescription cost of your patient’s AstraZeneca branded medication* and the generic alternative.

Depending on the benefit type and patient’s existing coverage, the card will pay all or some of the Manufacturer’s List Price (MLP), Usual & Customary (U&C) mark-up and/or dispensing fee. Some limitations exist for residents of Quebec. Please see www.ramq.gouv.qc.ca for more information.

The Savings Card is designed to provide the user with specific offerings. The user may still be responsible for additional costs not covered by their free prescription savings card. Availability varies by province and territory. Individual programs may change or end at the manufacturer’s discretion.

There are several things you can do to help your patient receive the AstraZeneca branded medication you prescribe for them.

For example, your patient can enrol in the AstraZeneca Authentics Program. After enrolling, your patient can download the Savings Card, present their card at the pharmacy along with their prescription, and the card will cover up to the difference in prescription cost between the AstraZeneca branded medication* and the generic alternative.

No, your patient only requires one card. They can use the same Savings Card for all prescriptions they receive for drugs in the AstraZeneca Authentics Program.

Yes, AstraZeneca Authentics Prescription Savings Cards are multi-use cards that can be used repeatedly in conjunction with your patient’s existing benefit plan or on its own. There is no limit to how many times your patient can use their subsidy cards.
